How do you take payments for services?
After your appointment is booked, you will be asked to pay a 25% deposit. The remaining balance is due after services are completed.
We accept Chase Quickpay, Venmo, Cash App, or any major debit or credit card.
What if my group is paying for their own makeup separately?
Please choose one person responsible for payment, as we only accept payments from the person responsible for the booking.
When should I book my makeup appointment?
Most of our clients book 2-3 weeks ahead for special event makeup.
We do accept weekly and last-minute makeup bookings as well.
What happens during a makeup application?
We begin with a consultation, you will collaborate with your makeup artist to create a custom makeup look. Pictures are taken afterward, to see how well the makeup photographs.
What makeup brands are in your makeup kit?
Paint Gal makeup kit is stocked with high-quality brands that are excellent for all-day wear. Some of our favorites include Makeup Forever, NARS cosmetics, MAC cosmetics, Becca Cosmetics, Laura Mercier, Lorac, and many others.
How long will it take to complete my makeup?
It typically takes one hour to complete makeup and 45 minutes per person if you have a group.
Do you offer airbrush services?
We do not offer airbrush makeup. However, we give each client an airbrush like skin finish with
a long-lasting traditional foundation.
Do you travel?
Yes, we are a fully mobile makeup business. All Chicago makeup pricing includes up to 15 miles of travel from Downtown Chicago. We are also available to come to your city/destination for special events, makeup classes, and weddings. Please email email@example.com if you would like to bring Paint Gal makeup to your city.
